Introduction

Spring has arrived and with the new season comes new products. At Ergomotion we have been busy re-developing our motiondesk™ and the remote control for the motiontv™. These redevelopments and an increase in sales have enabled us to buck the trend and keep pricing steady and in some case decrease pricing across our range. In this Spring addition of our newsletter we highlight these new product developments.

New frame for the motiondesk™ 2 & 3

The motiondesk™ has been specifically designed to allow users to easily, quickly and effortlessly adjust their desks, at the touch of a button, to suit themselves, in both the sitting and standing positions, thereby reducing OH&S risks.

The new frames have been developed in consultation with customers and industry leaders to be as versatile as possible to compliment the wide variety of desk shapes and sizes available on the market.

The main difference with the new frames is that they are now adjustable in length, to suite desk top sizes from 1.5m to 2.2m in length. All similar parts are mirrored, making assembly easier and quicker. They also have simple adaptation plates to add a return, for corner workstations. The feet are also lower, giving a minimum desk height of around 600mm, while still achieving a standing height of around 1250mm.

These frames do not have cross members, which makes them ideal for wheelchair access. All parts have been made for ease and speed of assembly and are powder coated in black as standard and have the option of a grey powder coat. New motiontv™ -IR Remote

The new remote control is an infrared (IR) option that also allows the user to interface the remote with a universal remote control, thereby reducing the amount of remote controls needed in an AV room.

The remote has a small IR eye that is easily surface mounted to the furniture.

Power for the receiver is taken from the motiontv control box, thereby also reducing the amount of plug points required. The remote also comes with an integrated up/down panel in case the batteries go flat on the transmitter.

The original RF remote is still available for customers who prefer this option.

Universal Remote Control

The new universal remote can be coded to the same frequency as the standard transmitter supplied with our IR remote system, and then also be used with the other electronic components, like the TV, DVD, VCR, Set Top Box etc, in the room.
